IAN KERR LINDSAY
Ian Lindsay was born in Perth and educated at Perth Academy and The University of Dundee. Ian joined Wyllie & Henderson in 1983 and was assumed as a Partner in 1988. Ian is the senior Partner within the Firm. Ian is involved in all aspects of the Firm’s Chamber Practice with an emphasis on commercial work and a special interest in Liquor Licensing. A past Chairman of Perth Round Table No. 200 and former Clerk to the Congregational Board of St. Leonard’s-in-the-Fields and Trinity Church, Perth, Ian is a member of the Society of High Constables of the City of Perth. Ian is married with two sons and lives in Scone.
ANGELA LOUISE SCOTT
Angela Scott was born near Montrose, Angus, and she was educated atCults Academy, Cults, Aberdeen, and then at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, and The University of Dundee. Angela was enrolled as a Solicitor and Notary Public in 1995 and she was admitted to the The Office of Writer to Her Majesty’s Signet on 1st November 2002. Previously working in Edinburgh, Angela joined Wyllie & Henderson in May 2005 and was assumed as a Partner of the Firm on 1st July 2007. Angela specialises in Wills, Trusts, Executries, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Personal Taxation, Property and related matters and she is licensed by The Law Society of Scotland to conduct Incidental Financial Business. Angela is married and lives in Perth.
Grant McLennan was born in Alexandria, Dunbartonshire and completed his secondary education in West Lothian, graduating thereafter from Aberdeen University and the University of Dundee. Grant spent a varied career in media relations and public affairs prior to entering the legal profession, and served for five years as senior media relations officer to the Church of Scotland. Grant completed his traineeship with a well-regarded Inverness firm before joining Wyllie & Henderson in 2016. In practice, Grant is primarily involved in conveyancing, in addition to Wills, Adults with Incapacity matters and executry administration, and he also has practical experience of crofting matters. Grant is married and lives with his wife in Angus.
Duncan Adam was born and raised in Perth, attended the Universities of Aberdeen and Dundee and qualified as a solicitor and Notary Public in 2009. Duncan has since practised in Perth, Aberdeen and Glasgow and joined Wyllie & Henderson at the beginning of 2019. Duncan deals with Wills, Trusts, Executries, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Personal Taxation and issues relating to the care of older people.
After studying at Glasgow University, Stephen completed his training in Inverness and spent 6 years there, before moving to Perth in 2014 and joining Wyllie & Henderson in 2018. While Stephen can advise on all types of property and businesses, he has a particular interest in agricultural matters and advises landlords, tenants and owner occupiers on many aspects of their businesses. He can provide advice on renewable projects, telecoms masts and other ways farmers and rural property owners look to diversify their business. Building on experience gained in his years in the Highlands, Stephen can provide advice on the Crofting Acts when required. Stephen is a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Rural Affairs Committee.
Outside the office Stephen is a member of Central Baptist Church in Dundee, a keen supporter of Scripture Union Scotland and a member of the Lawyers Christian Fellowship. He also plays cricket (when the Scottish weather permits), representing Perth Doo’cot.
